Michigan faces two major elections during 2022, a statewide primary on August 2 and a general election on November 8. At the top of the ticket are candidates running for Michigan governor, representatives from U.S. Congress, Michigan state Senate and Michigan state House.
IPPSR is inviting a distinguished panel of journalists and election analysts to our next Public Policy Forum – Election 2022: First Look – on Tuesday, June 14, at 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Mackinac Room of the state’s Anderson House Office Building, 124 N. Capitol Ave. in downtown Lansing.
Panelists will be offering their perspectives on the upcoming August primaries and how the 2022 playing field has changed in advance of November general elections. What impact will the primary elections have on the general election and what effect will newly drawn district lines have on primary and general election races?
A special feature: IPPSR will be sharing its new Partisan Advantage Tracker, a user-friendly way to assess election fairness and track election outcomes.
Panelists
