The Office for Survey Research (OSR) offers customized evaluation and survey research services to a broad spectrum of clients.
Michigan State University Leadership
- Performance reviews of academic management, deans, and directors for MSU Academic Human Resources for over 20 years.
- Development and administration of college- and department-wide climate and culture surveys.
- Research partnerships with faculty and staff across all 17 MSU degree-granting colleges, resulting in thousands of surveys over 35 years.
- Ongoing collaborations with non-academic units, including: the Office of the Executive Vice President for Administration, Institute for Health Policy, and the National Social Norms Center.

The State of the State Survey (SOSS)
This is a quarterly study that is administered via telephone to approximately 1,000 Michigan adults on current public policy issues. It has been conducted since 1994, and over 70 rounds have been completed to date. More information about SOSS and full datasets from prior surveys are available on the SOSS website.
