Facing the Pandemic, the Economy and Redistricting

The November 2020 election's behind us, the uncertain election's ahead of us and so is redistricting. This edition's podcasters are IPPSR Associate Director Arnold Weinfeld and Michigan State University economists Charles Ballard and Jon Eguila. Weinfeld reminded his colleagues to stay masked for the foreseeable future. Ballard was looking ahead to COVID-19 vaccines that could prove valuable to boosting the state's economy. He also warned of a tough winter ahead for local communities. Aguila has a new way to create fairer voting districts as part of 2021 redistricting.
