The State of the State Podcast discusses issues, questions, answers, policy and research on the hottest topics on the local, state and national stage.
State of the State podcasters Interim IPPSR Director Arnold Weinfeld and Charles Ballard, Director of IPPSR's State of the State Survey, will talk together and share the air with frequent guests monthly.

In this edition of the State of the State Podcast, Weinfeld and Ballard talk with guest Shelia Cotten, IPPSR Faculty Affiliate and MSU Foundation Professor in the Department of Media and Information. Cotten makes a specialty of research into advancing the lives of older adults as they navigate the challenges of technology's fast pace. They review research into autonomous vehicles, and predict the challenges -- and benefits -- of driverless vehicles moving people and goods.
