The following documents are required to complete your application:

• Resume. Please include current or past political activity, involvement in community organizations and current positions on any boards or committees
• Personal Goals statement – articulate your personal goals including the political activity you wish to pursue. Discuss highlights of recent leadership responsibilities and achievements: what was/were the greatest challenges and what steps did you take to overcome them. What do you hope to gain by participating in MPLP?
• Public Policy issue – describe an issue that you believe needs attention and why this issue is important to you.
• Two letters of recommendation – these should describe why you have potential as a future leader or your potential to improve upon your current leadership position.
