Spring marks the annual Michigan Political Leadership Program's annual fundraising event!

This year, in a break from tradition, and to honor MPLP's 30th Class of Fellows, the annual dinner will be hosted in Michigan State University's home community of East Lansing. MPLP marks its 25th annual dinner by inviting Larry Sabato, New York Times best-selling author, Emmy Award-winner and recognized as one of the nation's most respected political analysts. He is also director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics.

You might also know him as editor of Sabato's Crystal Ball, described by the Center for Politics as "a comprehensive, nonpartisan political analysis and handicapping newsletter run by the University of Virginia Center for Politics. The Crystal Ball keeps tabs on presidential elections, along with every race for the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, and state governor."

The evening opens with a reception, a homecoming celebration of MPLP Fellows, Sabato's commentary and a Q&A emceed by another notable political observer, WKAR TV Senior Capitol Correspondent Tim Skubick.
