Breakfast, paired with dinner the night before in suburban Detroit, add up to two of the state's largest bipartisan gatherings. This year's 
events feature nationally known political pundits and commentators Patti Solis Doyle, of CNN, a Democratic political adviser to presidents, and Alex Castellanos, strategist and analyst with ABC News. They'll be talking about the 2016 election, the 2018 mid-term elections and the 2020 vote to come. It's a fast-paced breakfast in question-and-answer format so come prepared!

Dinner's at the Suburan Collection Showcase in Novi. Breakfast is at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids.
These events raise essential funds for a bipartisan program that trains 24 people -- 12 men and 12 women. One weekend for 10 months of the year, these competitvely chosen MPLP Fellows learn about personal leadership, public policy analysis and governing best practices. They learn by traveling the state, hearing from business and government leaders and by the mentoring of Co-Directors Susy Avery and Steve Tobocman, experienced as statewide leaders on their own.
